RFP Opportunity: Website Design – Upham’s Corner Main Street
Upham’s Corner Main Street (UCMS) is seeking proposals from qualified web design firms and freelancers to create a new organizational website that reflects the vibrancy, history, and economic vitality of the Upham’s Corner district.
About Upham’s Corner Main Street
UCMS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and nationally accredited Main Street program serving the Upham’s Corner business district in Boston. Our mission is to strengthen the district by supporting local businesses, fostering community engagement, and promoting sustainable economic development.
Project Overview
UCMS is undertaking a full website redesign, from concept through launch. The new website will serve as a key resource for residents, businesses, visitors, developers, and community partners. UCMS will provide all written content and imagery; the selected vendor will be responsible for visual design and development.
Project Goals
- Promote Upham’s Corner as a vibrant place to live, work, and do business
- Highlight local businesses, events, workshops, and development projects
- Provide intuitive access to resources for stakeholders and the public
- Deliver a visually engaging, mobile-responsive, and easy-to-manage website
Scope of Work Includes
- Website design
- User-friendly content management system (CMS)
- Mobile-responsive design
- Analytics and performance tracking tools
- Optional bilingual/translation functionality
Ideal Candidates
Firms or freeelancers with demonstrated experience designing websites for nonprofits, community-based organizations, or Main Street programs. Proposals should reflect strong design sensibility, technical expertise, and an understanding of cost-effective, scalable solutions.
